I was going to dump QCOM and buy SDLI at 213 but didn't because QCOM was going to be acquired imminently by NOK for $250 per share. That was when QCOM was at $100. Figure out that gain/loss spread.

SE and David

I have slowly but surely bailed on qcom. First my shares, then my calls and lastly my leaps. In fact, I just sold the last of my leaps today. I hate selling at a bottom, but frankly I am sick of watching dead money. If qcom moves, I can buy it back. In the meanwhile, I want my funds working for me and there are plenty of things that will move upward, versus qcom spinning in the mud.

I still like qcom...it killed me, but I do believe long term they will be fine...but at the same time, those leaps were just sitting there collecting dust, losing value little by little, while other stocks are actually making money....
