Enjoy the Gore mini bounce while it lasts. Gore polled higher with women over the weekend because of the kiss with Tipper. In 2 weeks we'll see Bush with a 10 point lead.

David:

Good link re: Dubya's stumbling and bumbling from the prestigious Washington Post. What bothers me most about the Texas governor isn't his cynical, sneering style, or his lack of foreign policy experience. What bothers me most is that I just don't think he's all that smart. I'm not sure he could go to a map and point out places like Vietnam, Bosnia and Chile, much less identify the leaders of those countries.

As far as Tiger Paw is concerned, I enjoy his posts. Don't let the GOP Old Fart McDonald's Koffee Klub gang discourage you.

By the way, in reference to Rep. Dan Burton, one article I found on the Web said he fathered his child out of wedlock in the early '80s, which should make the young man about 17 or 18 now. I also have a son that age. I wonder how many school events Dan has attended; how many birthday parties; how many football games or marching band contests. I really have no use for people who bring life into the world and then shun it. No use whatsoever. But Burton still is one behind Oklahoma Congressman J.C. Watts, the GOP poster-person for "inclusion," who, according to the Web article I saw, has fathered two children out of wedlock. I wonder if both of these congressmen were integral parts of the GOP's "family values" plank in the national platform.

Gimme a break.

Pretty trivial, when all politicians have times like this....
