Mike,
I, and I'm sure many others, do really appreciate your notations about SEBL as well as other stocks you know the history of.

Maybe I'm about the only one here anymore that can say this, but I am at a loss with QCOM. I was late into GGing and my first purchase based on the knowledge I developed through the book and in here was QCOM at $143. Now I only bought a few shares so it is a very small portion of my holdings, but I am looking at points to add to QCOM as well as others.

Since then I have made many outstanding purchases based on information shared on this thread, but I have been more sensitive to the prices of each buy. I bought into SEBL,PMCS,NTAP, and CREE all at points when they were a bit beaten down and already have some very nice profits on all of them. I know we constantly downplay Timing is here, but the more educated we are on how each stock ranges historically, the better odds you have IMO.

Thanks to all of the thread who have helped make my investing more successful !!!

Bretsky

Yeah, my disaster of the year, QCOM...

LTB&H on that one bit me on the a@# !

I have just sold 1/3 of my pposition in qcom (the portion that is still in profit) with 2/3 of my position being in a 40% loss side (800 shares at $ 100 or so... )

One word, Ouch !

It was a sacrifice to see if I could turn it around (i.e. my 1/3 liquidation of QCOm).. No luck yet <g>

Take care
Jean

P.S. Can you sing me a lullaby to distract me from my QCOM massacre ? I am still in awe at Lindy's wonderful run & liquidation of QCOM at the high..

Lindy, I admire you greatly !

Mike, I am here lurking, so no flowers please...

P.S.2 --> I LOOOOVE my SUN. Please read my weekend articles on why I think SUN is becoming a UNIX-version of the Wintel gorilla duo...
