"My purpose on this thread is not to educate you, but to be able to say "I told you so" at the appropriate time in the future."

Hmmmm! "My purpose"... You make it sound like you belong to some type of clandestine organization that set you up for the sole purpose of tearing down Rambus and promoting DDR. The "I told you so part" kind of makes you appear as a little egoistical worm.

Bilow> My purpose on this thread is not to educate you, but to be able to say "I told you so" at the appropriate time in the future. The technical issues are now dead, it is all about market share now.

Lets make it more interesting.. We need a goal line..

Carl,

Since it is obvious you think the game is over..

How about giving a situation or condition where you would stand TALL and ADMIT you were wrong and had misjudged Rambus.

Hard to imagine, but give it a try.

Don

Well, Carl this is the kind of response that we have come to expect from you. First, you try to discredit Newell who is obviously a physicist by casting doubt on his credentials. Then you fail to respond to his pointed critique of DDR versus RDRAM.

As to the market place as far as DDR for main memory is concerned there is only unceasing talk and so far no meaningful action. We were all waiting for the DDR PC in June. June came and went. There are no reports of either alpha or beta systems in test at OEMs. Meanwhile, there have the P4 is getting ready to be shipped and there are close to 10 K Itanium beta units in the field. Who do you think you re fooling? Some of the companies are talking about DDR next year. Now you are talking about eliminating DIMMs and soldering the DDR in to the motherboard. WEll they could have done that with SDRAM years ago if they thought that was such a good idea. Also they could do that with RDRAM if they thought that was worthwhile on the PC MOBO.

You have attempted to miseducate people on this thread and have admitted lying in your posts for your own perverse reasons. You have also stated that you are being paid to bash Rambus. Your credibility is less than zero. Your support comes principally from the AMDroids and Ramtronians.

I could care less about your desire to tell people someday in the future that you were right and they were wrong.
That is IMO infantile and moronic behavior. Also it is BORING!
