I remember these discussions, and they appeared to be little more than Rambus generated propaganda.

I specifically asked the question so that there'd be no mistake about the "specs" for DDR. As I remember, you agreed with the conclusion.

I guess I remembered incorrectly wrt your agreement on the conclusion. Couldn't find anywhere where you gave in <G>.

It wasn't Rambus-generated info, however. It was Toshiba's document pushing FCRAM that showed DDR effective bus utilization as significantly lower than RDRAM (where the page hit rate was the key factor -- toshiba.com.
