Terrance, I just got back in and scanned the posts. I believe we are polarized from these folks. They are, in my opinion, oblivious to the truth and have no desire to learn or seek the truth. They, and I hate to say it, conjure the image of programmed idiot followers that you might find in a police type environment like Cuba, Russia, etc.. They are the same people who jeer at youngster Boy Scouts who are presenting the colors at a convention. They are the same people who would piss on your leg and tell you it is raining. I wish they could figure how to develop a Gore thread and lie to each other there. I wish our thread could be more about discussing the issues on a mature level. We are polarized in that I have no respect for Gore or Clinton and when I meet someone who sings their praises I immediately evaluate them as either being (a) stupid, (b) a government freeloader (c) socialist (d) work for the government which is much like (b). I don't think they can be convinced and I know they can't convince me. I want freedom to pursue honest goals without a micromanaged, tax and spend bunch of professional politicians trying to build a unholy tax code that penalizes marriage, takes a hard earned estate where the taxes have already been paid once, micromanages by complicated programs of taxes and credits. Give us simplification, an open road, fairness and watch everyone, even the freeloaders, become stronger and more productive.
