Is the Q involved with Samsung's technology?

I've always assumed that some sort of partnership or alliance existed between the two. If taken literally, Q has nothing to do with the 15 Mbps technology except, of course, that it is CDMA based. If Gilder is correct, and there is no reason to doubt him, data speeds higher than 2.4 Mbps are going to be the norm soon.

Motorola's 1X Extreme comes to mind, but not a peep has been heard from it's traditionally hard-working and inventive PR department.

Sounds like WCDMA is out of business. What are the Euro carriers going to do with all that expensive spectrum they just bought?
