Interesting- You really think the Utilities are offensive rather than defensive stocks now?

I still tend to think of them as an economic indicator. A continuing rise in utilities signals a continuing economic expansion. IMHO

Do you think the trashing of the Transports is directly related to oil prices, or are there deeper problems with airlines and trucking. I'd really like to see a graphical on how, say the trucking industry is doing vs. the airlines vs. shipping, etc.

Regards,
TW

Interesting opinion. I guess you assume that the disposable income increase would all be spent on consumption. However, even if it were, it would be less inflationary than if the government squandered it on greater [or even current] bureaucracy and waste. imho
