"Presently, SBC doesn't provision SDSL or RDSL. Many CLECs provision SDSL, which if desired to provision out of an RT would require proprietary cabinet space. ...the VRTA chip should allow the switched provisioning of an SDSL connection necessary to provision real time video over your home's DSL connection." lml- Thanks. I now understand what the connection is to Pronto. But who do you think is going to be pushing for the Virata(sym:VRTA) based DSL equipment? Would SBC be motivated to push for it, or is it the CLEC you think may do so? Seems like SBC would not want to do anything to make it easy for the CLECs.
