i don't remember a single disparaging word about Ray before his departure Ray bashing doesnt seem right to me

Without Ray Lane ORCL would not be where it is today...Period... Show the man some respect.....He made my relatives lots of money in the last few years. Ellison may be a visionary but Lane really knows how to work with all the stakeholders and EXECUTE well. Without his contributions ORCL would NOT have a market cap. that is up over $200 Billion today.... I feel that Lane will continue to add great value as a venture capitalist with Kleiner Perkins...JMHO.... Best Regards, Scott
