<<Read-Rite said that it has already begun shipping giant magnetoresistive, or GMR,>>

Ahhhhh Debra, thank goodness we have thee to keep us up to date on the very latest cutting edge technology developments.

<<..investor optimism that the sector may be ready to return to profitability in the fourth quarter, and Read-Rite's announcement only added to the optimism.>>

especially over at TDK and ALPS

<<GMR recording heads are more sensitive and hence are capable of storing more data per disk.>>

Yup....we sure need a whole lot more data per disk in order to return the industry to profitability. Thank God we have engineers up to such a daunting task.

What do you think Mark? Can RDRT gin up enough revenue from this to be making money in the fourth quarter?

Best Regards.......Tom
