Yep, but I think the "crash" coincided with the CNBC reporting? Did it not?

It wouldn't surprise me if the Mob was behind this or a major disgruntled employee(insider). PR's work in this manner. You set up your account with the news source of choice. The company is billed a monthly charge for the service, depending on which one. They are charged by the individual PR as well. Once the account is set up, all the company has to do is use a fax machine FROM their location to send over the PR. Then news source will broadcast it accordingly, depending on the service. Now, if you want to be recipient of these news releases 1st hand, you must set up a T1 line with a min of at least 1 server. You will be charged about 1-2k per month to get news as it hits the wires. That's why traders always see a 15 min lag time for PR's. Normally after you see the PR, the big boys have already received the news, and trade according. They have spent the $$$$$$'s in order to get this info 1st. Therefore, there's definitely criminal activity involved, the ? is.....was it an inside/outside job.

Notice the PR was sent @ 9:30 west coast time from Costa Mesa. This PR has to come from inside the company, unless some really good hackers broke inside their servers some how to fax the PR. I personally don't see that happening. The time was 6:30am when this occurred. I would assume there weren't many employees in the office at that time. So it will be very interesting to see if in fact, there was a break in to release this PR, or someone in the company(former or present) had access to all areas released the PR. Regardless they will be able to track where it was sent from, and that's where the investigation starts. This will definitely be a hot subject for the next few weeks to see what comes of it.
