I have given many examples on this list. But you missed the point: The point is not that Windows 2000 lacks drivers, but that it is backwards incompatible with NT drivers, and that people really don't care about Windows 2000. I haven't heard anybody recommend an upgrade to Windows 2000, yet, and despite that I have much contact with many software producing companies, I see so many of them that even don't test their apps with Windows 2000. Why should they? Nobody uses it. And why don't they use it? Because it's completely new compared to Windows NT instead of just an upgrade. Microsoft should have seen, that Windows 2000 doesn't have any must-have improvements, and made it Windows NT compatible. A major change in OS technology should have waited until a must-have improvement need is there.
