I don't recall it as being Velikovsky There were several authors along this line when I was in high school. Velikovsky, Edgar Cacey, & John White and a few others (VonDaneken was more the aliens buiding the pyramids and mayan temples kind of author). There were also a lot of UFO sighting books in our library. I'd practicly forgotten about them. The biggest danger to fundamentalizm is critical thinking, so they try to get rote memorization as the dominant teaching mode (which makes them good at spelling bees). few Americans could pass the test for naturalization. Do you mean as a pop-quiz, or with similar preparation as an immigrant applying for naturalization? I like that show Win Ben Stein's Money because it shows how smart people react when asked about categories they don't use day to day. TP
