Gene,

I'm not sure that it is safe to extrapolate Athlon DDR results to PIII. Athlon has a 200MHz bus which can take advantage of high bandwidth memory, whereas the PIII bus runs at the same speed as PC133.

Given this information about PIII, one really has to wonder about the decision at Intel to push DRDRAM for PIII.

Gene, Maybe I've forgotten all of my math <ggg> cuz this is what I come up with:

PC133 > DDR
PC800 = PC133 (w/ lousy front side bus no less)
PC800>DDR
