Crazyman,

Your post about all the good things happening at AMD will surely cause the stock to drop a few points on Monday!

Actually, I think we will see $37+ at the close on Monday.

Pravin.

Did you notice pauL's observation: "How do you describe the 20 Watt difference - in Intel's favor - merely considerable ?"

I think that he could strengthen the argument by pointing out how many more 1.1 Gig Athlons there are out there than the scant sampling of 1.13 peeiiI's. Athlons, in total, probably consume many, many more kilowatts of power than do the similar speed peeiiI's. I wonder why he chooses to ignore that argument.

In due course inteL may do its part to save a lot of energy as users, more and more, turn them off.

Kindest of Patient Regards,

DARBES

".Yep! Looks like the Wall Street investors and the ANALysts are right on top of things! N O T !!!"

Comment: Not yet anyway...Take a look at that January to June run we witnessed from $28 to $95...Earnings growth is still accelerating so don't be surprised if we see a repeat run similar to that now that AMD has split...Kinda funny that the post split high is $48.50, the pre January all-time high...Won't surprise me at all if we see the same kind of "price bursts" shortly that we saw betwee January and June...Won't surprise me if the AMD price appreciation over the next 5 months is equivalent or greater than what we saw between January and June...As you have pointed out, AMD's productlineup and production capacity has never looked better than it does right now...It's only a matter of a (short?) time until these superb fundamentals get reasonably factored into AMD price...
