Do you work for Ciena’s PR department? No offense meant, but your message reads like what a company press release would say. Doesn’t standard press release protocol, always indicate a mutual agreement to separate. Even when a company officer has to be escorted out the door by company security isn’t it normal to say “Joe has left to pursue other interests. We wish him well.” “planning on taking mutual advantage of the bridges that both have obviously taken such care to preserve..” Wait until he tries to set up a competitive start-up or steal Ciena’s engineers. We’ll see sparks fly. Of course, I hope he establishes only synergistic optical products that Ciena would work with and possibly acquire.
