Scumbria,

I assume that was a question. I didn't realize that Rambus had been granted the authority to inhibit the business practice of other companies.

Rambus has already stated that they would withhold the licensing of the patent from any company that made them go through a lawsuit if Rambus won. That is perfectly legal. Infineon would still be able to produce any DDR and/or SDRAM that did not include Rambus-patented technology.

Scumbria... Your assumption was wrong. I had no question mark (?) at the end of my statement.

If they go to court and Infineon loses it is my understanding that Rambus will have the option to license or not to license their technology to Infineon.
