That seems to be the company line when discussing PIII. For some reason, MHz suddenly becomes very important when Intel is discussing P4. Weird isn't it???

I am not in the company and am not a tech person at all. My comments apply equally to Intel and AMD. This Mhz race needs to take a break. I don't know how to break the news to you, but no one cares.
People on these threads get terrible tunnel vision. You would think that the future of western civilization depends on who makes it to this Mhz or that gigabyte first.
I would love to see Intel call a halt to the madness and concentrate its CPU energy on perfecting what they already have. AMD can do what it wants.
