RE:"We have a deficit to pay off for good or ill, keeping it around for generations at the present level would be criminal." The Dems especially don't care about paying it off, Teddy Kennedy especially has plans for that "surplus". They will likely just find new programs in the candy store. The criminality is that most politicians will not be held accountable for their actions or nor will the people who voted them in. Jim
