Steve, re: "The Intel leaning press had to report AMD earnings as 1.21 taxed versus 1.14 untaxed estimate. If they would have reported it as 1.51 versus the 1.14 estimate, it would have hit the fan." The press reported the taxed earnings, because AMD has to pay taxes, why is that so hard to understand? I've never seen the business press report "but if ABC company didn't have to pay, their earnings would have blown away estimates". Just get used to it. Should Intel be evaluated on untaxed earnings? John
