UF,

<< Since I believe Intel to be the Prototype Silverback, I have to disagree with you >>

I too. When you cross a primate with semiconductors you get one seasonal, cyclic, Silverback.

Now knowing that the cycle was here and the season was almost upon us I sold INTC in October for 2 wannabe gorilla's (no tornado for WIND or GMST yet).

Bought INTC back this spring (much higher). I got lucky. Did a quick double on WIND (sold it on 12/27) and parked the cash, eventually purchasing back half my original INTC position. Still holding the GMST which is doing almost as nicely as INTC over that period. Could easily not have been so lucky (emphasis on the luck).

I think there may be a LTB&H lesson here, as well as a Moore example of not taking a position in a gorilla till the tornado begins.
