It's so easy to accuse other's of racism, or engage in self hate for the "sins" of your ancestors. Just as it is easy to tell everyone else to change while giving up nothing yourself. How many "environmentalist tree huggers" do you know who have chosen to live in the city? Not too many of them. Most of them live in wilderness areas where they can hike around enjoying those "spacious skies", and play a direct role in protecting the wilderness habitat that they are in fact infringing upon.
