The main reason Starr pursued the Monica matter was to attempt to crack the whole mechanism of cover- up he kept encountering in the Whitewater matter. Although that did not work, at least he established the lack of scruples that animated the administration. It is too bad that you are so dismissive of lawbreaking.....On Cheney, it really is none of your business. It may be the business of the stockholders, it they believe that the board exercised poor judgment. But since the board was buying a "star", it is likely he deserved every bit of his compensation........
