DUSTIN... Almost every trade between MM's today is done via SELECTNET. What the trader chooses to use as his venue is simply a matter of preference (IMHO). I would guess that the bigger firms like to use ECN's because every market player is scrutinizing their every move, but the ECN's offer the anonymity factor. It is in their customers (and their own) best interests to try to NOT show their hand as much as possible to get the best prices for their customers. All the best, -- Gene
