If in fact they are OEM'ing OTC Telecoms gear, they can not do what they claim. That particular wireless technology is based on the 802.11 spec. 802.11b runs 11mb 802.11a (suprisingly)runs 22mb. 802.11b can roam some, but it is not meant nor designed to roam over large distances. The problem is that the transmit signal is not very strong (60mw I believe). The other problem is that it is a CSMA based system (just like the old thin wire ethernet). The problem here is that you run into saturation problems at or around 50 or so users. So, if you have a big building, you can put in 3 or 4 "cells" and move from place to place (within a building or campus). There is a lot of wireless stuff out there that works on the existing cell phone infrastructure. This does is much different than what BIFS appears to be selling.

BIFS doesn't even show a picture of there stuff anywhere, so it is difficult to tell you what they are doing exactly.

This one has more red flags than a 10 mile stretch of interstate construction zone.
