BioFiltration Systems, Inc. (OTC BB: BIFS) Is a Pollution Control Company that recently started trading over the counter "OTC" on the NASDAQ Bulletin Board . BFS was incorporated in late 1992 for the purpose of purchasing, further developing and patenting a proven ANAEROBIC/AEROBIC Remediation Process for treating and disposing of aircraft deicing and anti-icing fluids and other related organic effluent. THE POLLUTION PROBLEM IS LARGE: Anyone that flies on a regular basis knows, before a Commercial Airliner starts the take off roll in winter weather, deicing solutions (glycols) are sprayed over the plane to prevent ice from forming and destroying the planes ability to fly. The amount of glycol used per mid-sized plane (THAT'S ONE PLANE), requires as much treatment plant capacity as required to treat normal sewage from a city of 5,000 people. Deicing operations are active every day, somewhere in the world. THE PATENT THEY HAVE BEEN AWARDED: In 1993 U.S. Patent # 5,205,935 was issued to the company for the ANAEROBIC/AEROBIC treatment of liquid wastes rendering it suitable for discharge into publicly owned treatment plants, and if required, recycled for irrigation or from disposal directly into the waterways with NPDES permits. MY PERSONAL IMPRESSIONS FROM INITIAL DD: A long talk with Al Keyser, CEO, has convinced me of one thing: that this is a seasoned company with a real and needed technology. Not only have they demonstrated the technology to the Air Force at the Pentagon in front of 120 people, but also the Canadian Air Command, and some civilian Airports. One contract makes them instantly profitable, and one contract is likely to open up door to others. The technoloogy is patented and akin to a sophisticated septic tank... a very sophisticated and proven process for rendering fuel and other toxins at airports non-toxic. There isn't a competitor and so the likelihood of success is real. As far as the shares outstanding go they are very tightly held, and the float is low. While this can increase volatility and MM games, when buying starts based on major news, the probability for a major stock price advance is large. Games recently by the MM's which resulted in a price drop on an apparent large purchase (not a sell) make this a timely stock for you to DD. Volume is low now, but exposure with the recent addition of WorldVision Financial as the PR Firm make this a stock that is timely. It looks like the MM's know this too, and want to try to panic people out of shares to get some cheap stock, before the public discovers this undervalued company. FINANCIAL SUMMARY: The Industry of this company is Pollution Control. The Target Market is Airports. There are 5,000,000 Authorized Shares. There are 3,000,000 Restricted Shares. There are 3,959,100 shares outstanding. The Float (common shares) is 959,100.** ** I understand that now the float is considerably less as many who have purchased recently are long term investors and employees who are holding which explains why the volume is low. Of course that is just my opinion and you should do your own DD. You might want to begin here: wvfg.com. Click on BIFS.
