Additionally, the article that was to show "support" for NXTV actually leads one to believe that Qwest will indeed be focusing more on businesses than on other consumers, which was one of the reasons for the downgrade in the first place. They mention support for New Mexico's business community much more than other customers. I am looking for a buy-in point here, but the horizon is very foggy and I think that it will be some time before it clears up. The fact that the stock has not rebounded is somewhat disturbing. Obviously, there are quite a few folks sitting on the sidelines waiting for some additional information (from the company would be nice). The longer the period of time before we hear from the company about its forecasted outlook, the less credible the stock will be even at this level. The fact that a friggin analyst was able to get more information out of Qwest than NXTV has (or has publicly made available) is also bothersome. Bothersome enough for one of the company own underwriters to say that it was worrisome how apparently out of touch they were with a major customer. Now with that said, the analyst could be full of horse manure, but the fact that they underwrote part of the deal makes one concerned. These guys usually go out of their way to support stocks that they have taken out - not bash the crap out of them in advance of the company making any sort of statement about the perceived issue. Apologies if some of this is repetitive of previous discussion, but I believe that the whole story has yet to be played out and we are batting with only half the information about the pitcher. Until this picture becomes clearer, I am on the sidelines as well. H.I.
