With all the worldwide chaos concerning standards for wireless might building out one's own state of the art infrastructure be as good or better? After all gblx, level three and uunet did this in other areas quite successfully. In a sane world this would be the solution. But with multiple deflation going on for wcom et al, something more dramatic is needed to jump start the stock. Otherwise guys like me start to bail too. What would a UUNET spinoff do for the stock? I am sure Bernie is pulling his hair out trying to figure something out. Problem is there might be nothing to do now.
