This will be a great battle.

My opinion is that Intel needs memory enabling fabs, more then they need Rambus. Don't expect Rambus to "not license anyone they defeat in court" without Intel applying requisite pressure. Remember, Rambus is Intel's love slave and they cannot bite the hand that feeds them.

Richard, I am surprised that you and Edelstone repeat this non sense about not licensing at all those parties defeated in court. They could charge higher rates (withih reason) and on past production obtain treble damage (if wanton infringement is shown), but at the end, they will have to license or be sued for "unfair trade practices" under the Sherman act (or is it the "Clayton act?).
