Jim I did some rotational type selling today as well. It seems as if short term momentum is stalled a bit. Actually it seems to me that some of the trades I like to work best may be coming up soon. KEG is a classic example. The stock briefly dipped below it's 200 dma but held, then rallied sufficiently to keep the long term trend (200 dma) intact. The 50 dma also bottomed off the 200 and is now turning up, indicating the strong possibility that a good intermediate up trend has commenced. Typically stocks pull back briefly to the averages before the major up move. Big Dogs 15 looks like a reasonable target. This is the way I like to play. Give the absolute bottom to those smarter than me, falling knife catchers yet still get most of the intermediate move. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but it's a style that works for me. Hey! Gotta go home with who brung me to the dance.
