It is arthrascopic, but it is a general. I had the option of going with an epidural, but the idea of sticking a needle in my spinal area kinda scares me. Not to mention that if I was awake for the 3 hour procedure, I would become real fidgety regardless of the drugs....I would probably get to the point where I thought ants were crawling under my skin and freak out.
