JC, Intel's management said several months ago that they could launch P4 "anytime they wanted to". The benchmarks are consistent with theoretical analysis, and unlike Firing Squad's K7 numbers, I have no reason to be suspicious of the results. I expect some improvement with the final BIOS settings, but not a huge amount. think it's best to give Intel the benefit of the doubt as to the severity of this situation. I have seen little reason in the last 12 months to give Intel's management the benefit of the doubt. Scumbria
