Franz, re BRCM vs. Intel, I think I can speak pretty much for this thread, that high 90s percent of knowledge of Intel here is about their microprocessors and related products for PCs, workstations, and servers. All I know is that Intel was after BRCM earlier this year for raiding Intel of engineering types from Intel's communications chip division. Now Intel is saying they want some BRCM products to actually stop shipping because they contain too much proprietary technology that the folks that went to work for BRCM allegedly took with them. Thinking some more, Amy J., I believe, has probably the best knowledge in the comm chip area around this thread, if she's reading? Tony
