Brad, I too am neither long nor short. But I disagree with you on the patent being the only important issue. In one sense, it is incredibly important to the longs that the patent exists because it is what BIFS has sold the whole scenario with. On the other hand, it is not that important to the shorts because without a viable business plan, a patent is useless. Just because someone receives a patent on something, does not mean that it is the best device in the category or that there is a market for it. I would be interested in seeing what the percentage of patented devices were never developed into money making products. JXM
