mightylakers, the guy takes an alternative methodology to make his valuations. Look at the report (btw, the link to the report is in the upper left hand side of the page - I said right in my post). ssinvestor.com

I guess if he applied that to all stocks, most would also be grossly over-valued. Still, this is not helping bring in any new buyers with this sort of crap being tossed around.

>> What is this guy smoking???

The better question is, since this is a free report, what is he trying to accomplish?

>> QUALCOMM's stock is hardly a bargain

Since I strongly disagree, I just made my first addition to my qcom holdings since June of last year. I purchased aafap's, which are 1/00 $80 strike calls. We are headed into the heart of the seasonality curve for consumer products, about to gain momo from the spinco ipo, and see the first 3G installation about to go on line in Korea in September.

I am very optimistic about qcom for the balance of this year, and think the aafap's are an absolute steal at $4.

QUALCOMM's stock ... is still trading at 146 times earnings

In his methodology, he charges the differential in options strike price vs. market to expense as additional compensation (or something like this). I did not check his numbers, but assume that this lowers the earnings he uses and therefore raises the p/e.
