Then there seems to be some of the environmental movement, & Gore's reason for being, which is based on non-science.
Were there less fear-mongering(from the left) would Gore have as great a level ofsupport?

Oops! Remember the recent page one New York Times story that open water was seen at the North Pole for the first time in 50 million years?
Naturally the liberal newspaper blamed this supposed phenomenon on "global warming." But it turns out the claim was wrong.

In a correction published in the Times on Tuesday the paper said it had "misstated" the normal conditions of ice at the pole.

SEATTLE, Aug. 31 – The Republican National Committee will launch a double whammy ad on Friday attacking Vice President Gore for meeting with donors at a Buddhist temple and overstating his role in the creation of the Internet.

Cheney and Bush remind me of "con men" who try to convince people that they are true blue and patriotic to the core, and then sell you a pyramid scheme you can't resist. Atleast with Gore and Lieberman you have battle tested Senators who will continue the current prosperity we all enjoy.
