Are you saying the design changes coupled with the process transition will take that long? Adding functional units to Willy is probably close to impossible. Scumbria, I know that you have't actually played with the chip so I am putting you on the spot, but you're of the opinion that little can be done to correct its performance defects? That the chip is an ugly thing resulting from the unholy alliance of engineering and marketing? Would I be correct in coming to that conclusion? <g> TIA. ted
