ida, I have tried to retrace my steps, but I haven't found the link for the Telco conf. at Lake Tahoe, in Sept., Of course you could call Avanex. I think I made a mistake in my previous post. Extr, Avnx, Jnpr and Avci all had big moves on Aug.3, but I believe it was Avci that had the largest move that day. I talked to Avanex yesterday, they are very positive about the future growth and acceptance of their power shaper technology. They have made a conscious decision to focus their creative energy on the peripheral interface end of the optical build out, because they feel that is where the highest demand for solutions will be. Other optical companies focus is on enhancing mega telco to telco fiber interfaces, but there are a lot less of those situations to develope equiptment for.
