Glad you brought that up. I have had shut down problems for two straight days on my win 95 machine. Wish I had a clue. I have run norton system doc and speed disk. No fix yet.

Staroffice users/wannacheckouters: staroffice.com This is a support group for the staroffice suite. Just found it this morning so I do not know what level of info is there.

I'm not familiar with 95 but if you selectively protect each program one by one and try shutdown maybe you can find the problem and leave it protected.

On colors, try checking then change visited and unvisited links to see if they are connected. I have windows colors checked and use 5.00.2919.6307. Maybe a version upgrade would solve this?

While I'm here I may as well mention that my machine has lost the ability to retain the color change of sites visited:

Check your settings in the"Accessibility" area in Tools. You'll find a setting for the "ignore" colors on web pages.
