But, UF, considering the "risk/reward" aspect, 250K IS small potatoes here.

What doesn't add up is that someone with the sophistication needed to do the scam should also have had the sophistication to know that it would be instantly traceable.

Either it's part of a bigger scheme and he took the fall, or the guy is just a knucklehead. But it is hard to imagine a 23-year-old knucklehead at a Jr. College in El Segundo playing with that much dough.
