Mary, I wish I could say it as well. The whole world in being sucked in to computers like a black hole. You could almost say that the computer age has not yet begun. And Dell is leveraging its' strengths wherever it can.

Mary, RE: The PC era is still in its infancy. You ain't seen nothing yet.

No question about it.

But Dell has only dominated in one part of the PC era. There is nothing to indicate that Dell can dominate in another, any more than IBM, DEC, AAPL, et. al.

The PC of FIVE years from now is not going to resemble the PC of today -- my guess is that it will be a small box sitting next to the furnace with connections (either wired or wireless) to a few HDTV screens scattered around the house which have associated keyboards and/or command microphones.

And it will sell for about as much as a thermostat does now, with comparable margins.

JMHO, of course.
