Thanks for retrieving the cool presentation. A couple of us have mentioned that Gore is in a bad hole in the electoral college, but it has yet to sink in........It is not only the votes, fellas, but how they are distributed! It is even theoretically possible for Gore to win the raw vote and lose the election. It happened once (Grover Cleveland). That means, at the least, that the front runner has the strategic initiative about what states to focus on.......

Note in your poll posted: Bush leads BIG in Texas, but Gore barely leading in his home state of Tennessee. Hmmm????

Do the people of Tennessee know something?

From the same source, this is historically the most accurate poll, and Bush leads AlGore the Junior

Newsweek's polls are not to be trusted, as I recall, they had Mondale beating Reagan when everyone else had Reagan up by 15-25 points.

Anything to get momemtum behind their candidate.
