Flapjack, why should a union member, who is Republican, give his hard earned union dues to a Democrat candidate without permission just because the union leadership is full of liberal Democrats?

Don't you think they should at least sign a form relinquishing their money first?

The problem with your big business argument is that they donate almost evenly to both parties, maybe a few % more to one than the other. The unions go almost purely for Democrats, thus tipping the scales in the democrats favor.knc
