Cirrus, <I just refuse to believe Intel would come out with a processor that crappy... > How about "over-engineered" instead of crappy. Willamette was conceived when competition was nearly non-existant. <Maybe I'm in DENIAL. ;) > It is probably not a bad idea not underestimate competition. I am willing to wait for a little long to see the official benchmarks and the marketing spin. In the mean time I am quite pleased with my AMD investment because AMD has no threat for the near-term. (of course, that doesn't include self-inflicted pain!) Chuck
