It is truly amazing that Bush states that he wants the American people to see the debates, and considering the fact that the bi-partisan commission has the forum which would allow this to happen. Now it appears that Bush had to be negotiating with NBC and CNN to limit his appearance before a "hostage" audience. (I guess the word "hostage" is appropriate in this context, since I now know that "hostile" is correct for a whole new context of meaning.)

Hey, Ron! Before you run off to the golf course this morning, tell me again about that candidate you don't trust but want him to be president. Run that part about a consensus builder by me one more time. Seems that Shrub wants to duck ALL the American people for a select few and in my estimation that isn't consensus building, but I'm sure that you see it differently.

Truly amazing! Even I will admit that Gore is "stiff as a board" and Bush is "Mr. Glib and Happy Face" all rolled into one. And that is the bottomline, isn't it Ron. "Mr. Glib and Happy Face" is a f****** idiot and if he didn't have his family heritage, he wouldn't be up for election of dog catcher in Gotham City.

Ron...repeat after me! It's the economy stupid! And you would think that the CEO's getting pay increases along the lines of 535% over the past 10 years as opposed to workers increase of 32%, your consensus builder would be willing to stand before the American people and tell us that Dick Cheney didn't pig-out with his Halliburton severance package.

Bush is clearly afraid of confronting Gore in the Presidential Commission debates. He wants a smaller audience and a different format. His handlers are afraid that voters will discover the suit is empty.
