Re Debate Rules and Classic Debate Rules....Would be interesting to see just how both candidates would fare with classic debate rules, and not well rehearsed, canned answers....If we all look at these classic debate rules, at least we should be better able to assess the candidates and their mental quickness. My prediction is the Gore camp will cave and he will be forced to attend the debate in a little over a week on Meet the Press. The free-flowing style of the show is exactly the kind of forum best suited for actually debating. And something Gore's scripted sound-bite handlers fear the most.
