Bush is right to be leery of "debates" that are really showcases for TV media personalities. Remember the snide and sarcastic Carole Simpson in 92?

I'd feel better about these events if real pad and pencil type reporters were asking the questions.

Until the candidates agree to something, why would anyone do anything? Unless Bush thinks that it is to his advantage, why should he agree to Gore's terms?

Why would the discussion on Meet the Press and Larry King not be honest and open? You yourself said that Gore may very well triumph with incisive questions.

This is silly........

Flap,
that's about as ignorant thing as you've said this past week. Talk about listening to strategists, Gore can't even pick out his own clothes. In fact he needed that woman to tell him how to be an alpha male. The guy would get lost in a one room house without his handlers.knc
