Neocon, The arguement is for the debates to be on most channels during Prime time ?????? Is this correct??

Re: "Maybe the times they are a-changing": That's what scares me. The message the GOP seems to be sending is there's no need to debate; we'll tell you everything you need to know. Just watch our ads. Uh, no thank you. I was just watching the '92 debates with Carol Simpson. C-Span's been replaying them. I forgot, but in that debate, members of the audience asked questions of the candidates. There were no Sam Donaldson types. Just solid citizens. Actually, Bush Sr. did quite well in that format, I thought. Clinton was the one that looked a little green. Some of the stuff was humorous, like Clinton talking about bringing dignity to the office of president.
