Seems you don't mind telling Al Gore's mother how to manage her estate. And Ron, it appears that you are confused by bringing PBS into the picture to defend Bush's evasion tactics. That is the whole point! Gore wants EVERYONE that owns a TV set to be able to see the debates. You and Shrub want to "duck and dodge" and only appear on cable and the few people that have access to PBS. Wake up, Ron! Bush wants to limit exposure to those that can afford cable TV, and not to afford the common man that can't afford to pay $50 a month for cable. Ron, believe it or not there are some people that think putting food on the table takes priority over spending $50 a month for cable TV. And for the most pathetic thing you have offered todate, I give you the following...."If workers want more money, they have to increase productivity and use that as a negotiating point in requesting higher wages. If not, they can always go and work somewhere else, or better yet, start their own company and compete with their former employer." Let me remind you: (1) CEO pay up 535% (2) Corporate profits up 116% (3) Average workers pay up 32% Ron, if your explanation is the answer, then I assume that your favorite crowd..that being CEO's are the only people increasing their productivity. Why is it that always the onus falls on the workers to justify there livelihood, but CEO's can merely get their incestous boardmembers to grant them huge raises. I can just see it now! The board members are called together in your dream world and they tell the CEO that because his productivity was up 2%, they can only justify a bonus of $5 Million. But Hey, Ron! I see a glimmer of hope for you and me. I agree on not paying to see those professional ballplayers. But even there I must remind you that it is the owners and their sweetheart tax deals that allow this to happen. If you want to see some realistic salaries being paid to these worthless numbskull ballplayers, cut out the tax breaks. Gee! Now where have I heard tax breaks mentioned lately. and Ron...please remember this: George W. Bush....TEXAS RANGERS BASEBALL TEAM...Bush puts up peanuts and walks away with millions. Oh! Those wonderful tax breaks and incentives for the rich.
